How does this piece of evidence show the chosen IB Learner Profile Characteristic?
I selected claim #1 from my TOK presentation as my piece of evidence. I believe that this work shows the IB Learner Profile Characteristic of principled because we were able to create an argument without disrespecting people who think differently. This evidence represents the aforementioned characteristic because we used the AOK of Religious Knowledge Systems, a topic that is not easy to discuss considering the different points of view. However, we managed to present our perspective in an honest and polite way.
What did I learn about myself while completing this evidence?
Throughout the entire process of developing my first counter claim I learned that I am a very open-minded person but most importantly, I realized that I am capable of applying my values to every single project I have to do.
How can this particular evidence help me in the future?
This particular evidence will help me in the future because I realized I am a very principled person; hence, I will be able to communicate with a lot of people in the future. Additionally, I proved to myself that I am capable of analyzing certain topics from different perspectives without disrespecting others.
