This piece of evidence shows the IB learner profile characteristic of open-minded because I had to think outside the box in order to find the topic that I used for the Internal Assessment. Additionally, I had to be open-minded in order to create my introduction because it represented a challenge for me considering that I struggle when it comes to engaging the reader.
Which challenges did I face when developing this particular evidence?
At first I struggled because I had no idea how to start my math IA, especially my introduction. However, after finishing the body of the written report and with the help of my open-minded skills I began writing about my topic. It was a little bit difficult because I am always confused when it comes to writing an introduction but after analyzing my essay and reading many times I was able to work it out.
How can this particular evidence help me in the future?
This evidence will help me in the future because I learned how to create an introduction in order to explain the reader what the essay will be about. Additionally, this evidence forced me to abandon my comfort zone and to become more open-minded about certain topics that will help me in the future.

This evidence shows the IB Learner Profile Characteristic of thinkers because I had to use all my abilities as well as everything learned in class to complete the exam. This evidence represented a challenge for me but with my critical thinking skills I was able to complete it.
Which feelings or memories do I remember while thinking about the evidence?
I remember that I felt stressed and frustrated because I didn't know how to start the exam. However, after a while my critical thinking skills helped me to solve some of the complex problems that were asked.
How can this particular evidence help me in the future?
This evidence will help me in the future because I learned how to work under pressure using my critical thinking skills to solve problems.

This evidence shows the IB learned profile of balanced because through trigonometry I was able to understand the importance of mathematics in our daily lives.
Which feelings or memories do I remember while thinking about the evidence?
I remember that I felt very excited because trigonometry is a topic that I like very much. Additionally, it made me reflect on the importance that this topic has everywhere and on how I can use it to become an even more balanced person academically.
How can this particular evidence help me in the future?
This particular evidence will help me in the future in order to understand the world through mathematics. Moreover, as I mentioned before it will help me to find ways to become an even more balanced person.
